Richie Sambora Gets His Way

Richie Sambora`s hometown of Woodbridge, New Jersey has honoured the Bon Jovi by naming a street after him.

Next time you are in Woodbridge, check out Richie Sambora Way.

Sambora was in Woodbridge this week with his mother Joan for the official unveiling of the street sign.

He also went back to his old school, Woodbridge High, to meet students. Sambora funded the new weight room at the school as a tribute to his father Adam who passed away from cancer two years ago.

Richie Sambora Way is the street leading into the school.

Guns N’ Roses has announced a number of new tour dates

YouTube Preview Image Guns N’ Roses will be playing some Asian shows this December before their previously announced Canadian tour with Sebastian Bach and Danko Jones as support. The band will then embark on a South American tour between March 10 and April 10, 2010 (exact dates to be determined).

Rod Stewart Tour Dates 2010

The initial tour dates (reported HERE) raised some concern with fans North of the border due to an absence of Scottish dates. A curious state of affairs considering Rod’s family background and his longstanding love affair with Caledonia.

But we should’ve known better. The newly announced dates are Edinburgh Castle on July 14th and Glasgow SECC on July 23rd, and will be his first live appearances in Scotland since 2007.

Stewart is currently enjoying huge success with his ‘Soul Book’ album featuring his take on some of his favourite Soul music classics.
